Job Description

Join UCHealth as a Community Therapist, where you will provide essential counseling and therapy to patients in both individual and group settings. You will play a key role in assessing patient needs, coordinating discharge planning, and training new team members, all while contributing to the highest standards of behavioral health care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement counseling/therapy for patients in individual and group settings
  • Conduct interviews and assessments of patients and families
  • Participate in case reviews and care conferences
  • Assist with discharge planning and provide community resource referrals
  • Train new staff, students, and interns as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure as LCSW, LPC, MFT, or ACD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health and mental health care
