Job Description
Join E-Therapy as a Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instruction and support to K-1 students with disabilities, fostering inclusive learning environments and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Provide specialized instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills
Use evidence-based teaching practices and assistive technologies
Monitor and assess students' progress towards IEP goals
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Provide support to paraprofessionals and other support staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education
Previous experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Passionate about working with students in a virtual or on-site setting
Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
