Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, and preventative maintenance of diesel trucks
Repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with emergency breakdowns when on call
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Valid driver’s license
Experience with engine and transmission maintenance
Ability to provide own tools
Ability to speak and read English
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
Experience with diagnostic software (e.g., Premium Tech Tool)
Yellow Iron experience
Experience in a mechanic role for a refuse company
