Key Responsibilities
Processes radiographic films and verifies demographics and technical information.
Completes procedures while maintaining quality of work within an established time frame.
Constantly assess patients' condition and administers first aid as required.
Provides radiation protection to all patients in compliance with safety standards.
Confers with manager to recommend changes and report problems.
Monitors supplies in assigned work area and notifies manager of shortages.
Assists with clinical education of rotating students and orients new staff.
Maintains current license, CMEs, and participates in educational activities.
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in an AMA approved educational institution.
Current certification in diagnostic radiography by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current State of Maryland licensure.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
