Join Optum as a PACS Administrator where you will leverage your expertise in digital imaging and radiology to improve health outcomes. You'll manage PACS operations, train staff, and collaborate with IT, all while contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace dedicated to health equity.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the immediate line coordinator for PACS and VR support
Manage all aspects of PACS and VR operation including data integrity and security
Coordinate with IT on network access issues
Train staff/Radiologists in PACS and VR usage
Generate and communicate statistical reports
Liaise with Clinical Managers and outside departments
Perform regular systems tests and participate in audits
Maintain confidentiality and perform related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
4+ years of experience in PACS
3+ years of Radiology/cardiology clinical experience and IT/networking experience
Ability to work weekends/on calls as required
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all staff and physicians
Ability to creatively focus on concrete solutions to issues in a high-stress environment
Knowledge of radiology workflow
Strong organizational skills
