Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered wound care to residents of assisted living facilities and patients of skilled nursing facilities
Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans
Implement wound care therapies, monitor patient's response to treatment, and adjust treatments as necessary
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and facility staff regarding treatment plans and progress
Document all treatments and care provided accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding wound care treatment and patient privacy
Required Qualifications
Active unrestricted NP (Nurse Practitioner) license in MA
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience post-graduation
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
Excellent communication, patient care, and team collaboration skills
Ability to travel to different assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Wound care certification or substantial wound care experience
