Join Amazon's Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Operations as a Principal Technical Infrastructure Program Manager. Drive manufacturing strategy and execution in a dynamic international environment, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance product quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Determine how to provide manufacturing services throughout the MSP organization
Develop roadmaps and strategy documentation
Measure and analyze supplier performance and drive continuous improvements
Develop and improve organizational processes to optimize product launches
Provide On-Site support to new product launches
Root cause customer impacting manufacturing issues and drive resolution
Collaborate with development, supply chain, and operations teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
15+ years in hardware development across the full product life cycle
15+ years creating manufacturing strategy and tactical execution plans
10+ years managing core project management disciplines
7+ years of people leadership or mentoring experience
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics
Experience in manufacturing/operations/supply chain analysis
Able to travel up to 30%, US and International
Preferred Qualifications
Masters of Science and/or MBA
Diverse experience across multiple roles in manufacturing large format complex products
Experience with SMT, PCBA, metal fabrication, weldments, machining, controls systems
Six Sigma black belt and strong application experience with Lean Six Sigma
Formal program management experience and PMP certification
Experience working on new or start-up related projects
