Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Gallatin, TN 37066 (near Hendersonville, close to Nashville)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficient IV insertion skills required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Ability to float to Med/Surg units as needed
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertions and administer medications using Omnicell dispensing system
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to other Med/Surg units as required for clinical support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
