Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will provide spiritual guidance and support to Sailors and Marines in various situations. Your role includes conducting worship services, performing religious ceremonies, and counseling individuals, all while being immersed in the daily lives of service members.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Visit and provide spiritual care to hospitalized personnel
Train lay leaders in religious education
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a DoD registered religious organization
