Job Description

Join Maxar Technologies as a Maritime Systems Engineer and support vital projects within the Intelligence Community. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, analyze system requirements, and provide strategic technical planning and support for integration of advanced sensor systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify system requirements and oversee system design, development, integration, and testing
  • Participate in Technical Exchange Meetings for system integration and risk management
  • Support testing and test planning across the acquisition life cycle
  • Advocate for program performance and recommend future project directions
  • Interface with team members to resolve system engineering issues

Required Qualifications

  • US citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Mechanical, or Electrical)
  • 6 years of professional experience in systems engineering
  • Experience with embedded systems or robotics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical analyses to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working on-site at a customer location
  • Experience in DOD/IC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Systems Engineering
  • Experience developing Maritime systems
  • Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience with DAU Systems Engineering best practices
  • Practical RF systems knowledge
  • Military or defense-related experience
  • DAWIA Level II or equivalent in SPRDE-S&T
