We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Integration Architect (Boomi), that will also function as a Project Manager (Agile) to lead the delivery and evolution of the Interoperability platform . Theplatform includes integration and decisioning technologies such as Boomi, Azure Event Hub, Go Anywhere MFT and Decision Rules Engine . You will be responsible for end-to-end agile delivery, platform governance, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to support critical integration and event-driven architecture use cases. Platform and vendor management experience is required as well. This is a hybrid, twice-a-week in-office role in our Jersey City, Hartford, OR Raleigh offices. We are also open to candidates seeking a Remote role, as long as they are within the United States, preferably within the Northeast Region. Internally, this role is called Director of Software Engineering/ Agile Project Manager. Lead Agile ceremonies for multiple delivery squads aligned to Interop. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Platform Engineers to prioritize backlog and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Drive roadmap execution , sprint delivery, and ensure continuous improvement in delivery velocity and product quality. Oversee delivery of integration patterns across systems using Boomi , and event-driven communication via Azure Event Hub . Champion the development and deployment of decision logic using business rules engines (e.g., Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for platform components to ensure scalability, performance, and high availability. Experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams using Scrum, Kanban or SAFe. Excellent understanding of Agile metrics, backlog management, and release planning. Monitors all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle and Production Support service levels. Works closely with customers, other IT managers, and management to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology to improve business processes. Prepares business cases, including financial analyses of potential new technologies/systems/applications. Oversee business analysis, development work and quality assurance of projects for assigned systems/technologies. Contributes to the development of information technology, development standards, policies, processes and procedures to ensure consistent compatibility and integration throughout the company. P&L forecasting, operational/capital expenditures, contract negotiations and invoice processing Leads and manages teams to accomplish objectives through effective recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management and rewards & recognition. Hands-on or architectural exposure to Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus. Understanding of API-first architecture , event-driven design, microservices, and domain-driven design. Experience in leading a platform or CoE team, driving adoption across multiple delivery lines. Foster DevOps and Automation-first culture, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code(IaC). Broad knowledge of software development techniques, processes, methods and best practices. Proficiency with various programming languages used. Knowledge of application test automation products, processes, and best practices Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, applications, technologies. Strong understanding of Agile development methods and its application to company technology needs. High level knowledge/expertise in Legacy and Java development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale business applications. Strong strategic decision making & long term planning abilities to manage resources and develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience in software development & architecture design, including project management and business analysis.
