WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 5x8.
• Performs MRI imaging procedures.
• Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures.
• Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique.
• Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.

• Must hold current ARRT (MRI) certification.

• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.

• Valid New York State IV Certification.

• BLS certification is required.

• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
