As a Special Education Aide, you'll support K–12 students with autism and behavioral needs, working closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment. This role offers meaningful experience in special education while making a significant impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists for classroom management
Track and document behavioral data consistently
Communicate with special education staff and families
Support students with daily routines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting children with autism or complex emotional needs
Experience in special education with moderate to severe behaviors
