Job Description
MRG Exams seeks a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for independent medical assessments of veterans. This part-time role involves reviewing medical records, conducting evaluations, and completing VA-specific questionnaires to aid in disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal
Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans
Complete and submit VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Ensure thorough and accurate submission of DBQs within 24 hours of the assessment
Assess up to four veterans daily
Required Qualifications
Active MD or DO license
Specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Strong typing skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
Completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty
