As Vice President of Compliance at SNC, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. You will collaborate across departments to manage compliance risks and enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update a comprehensive risk-based audit plan
Lead the development and implementation of compliance programs
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
Oversee preparation of incurred cost proposals and submissions
Ensure compliance policies are communicated and applied
Monitor and update the assessment of the internal control environment
Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments
Report to executive leadership on compliance status
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance
Extensive experience in Government Contracting audit and compliance
Experience developing and implementing compliance programs
Proven leadership abilities
Strong communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Typically 15-20 years of relevant experience
Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
Prior public company experience
Experience on a compliance committee reporting to the board
Previous management experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CMA, CIA or other relevant certifications
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
