Job Description
As a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician with the Jewish Board, you'll provide essential crisis interventions to children and young adults facing mental health challenges. Join a dedicated team making a significant impact in the Staten Island community, providing immediate support and fostering recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Assist with intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication between Family Advocates and consumer families
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
