Job Description

Join Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital as a Clinical Staff Nurse in the Med/Surg Tele Float Pool, where you'll provide high-quality, individualized patient care in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing, planning, and directing patient care
  • Conducting nursing assessments and evaluations
  • Maintaining therapeutic nurse/patient relationships
  • Documenting patient care and outcomes
  • Coordinating discharge planning with Care Managers
  • Participating in quality and performance improvement activities

Required Qualifications

  • Current California Nursing license
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
  • Basic EKG Competence
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Nursing degree
  • 12 months of Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care nursing experience
  • Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing
  • Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish)
  • Dysrrythmia Course certificate
  • Electronic Medical Record experience
