Join Good Samaritan as the Director of Nursing to lead and enhance the nursing program in a long-term care facility. You'll oversee the quality of resident care, manage nursing staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a supportive and efficient care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers the nursing program in a long-term care facility
  • Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
  • Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
  • Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service
  • Monitors nursing staff operations and compliance with regulations
  • Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
  • Provides nursing care to residents as needed
  • Develops and implements marketing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Five years nursing experience
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
  • Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
  • Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
