Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long-term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service
Monitors nursing staff operations and compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Develops and implements marketing activities
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
