Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and field phone calls and voice mail messages
  • Document events in patients' digital health record
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Prepare patient charts and information prior to appointments
  • Facilitate activation of patient’s MyChart account
  • Support patient screening for digital remote patient monitoring program eligibility
  • Order/ship digital remote monitoring devices
  • Collaborate with patients, caregivers, providers, and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality for all patients

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
  • Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in computer use

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals
  • Epic experience
  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification
