Job Description
Join Optum as a Patient Services Representative where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting healthcare delivery. Your contributions will directly impact health outcomes while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and register patients in a pleasant manner
Instruct and schedule patients and visitors
Receive payments and issue receipts
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Support team in meeting financial and service goals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
Experience working with an electronic health records
Experience working with scheduling programs
Knowledge of medical terminology
