• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Current Med/Surg skills checklist (within 1 year)
• 2 supervisory references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Midland, MI

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing care per physician orders and nursing standards
• Provide direct patient care: nursing assessments, medication administration, treatments, responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and monitoring alarms
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and patient conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team to update care plans
• Process physician/provider orders and perform ordered care accurately and promptly
• Follow up on medication changes and clarify orders as needed
