Job Description
As a District Sales Manager at Sysco, you will lead a team of Sales Consultants, driving performance and coaching talent to achieve profitable growth. Your role will involve engaging with customers, managing territory planning, and executing company initiatives to elevate sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage performance and development of Sales Consultants
Conduct one-on-one coaching with Sales Consultants
Lead and facilitate district meetings
Direct Customer Engagement efforts
Deliver Sysco brand results
Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales consultants
Execute territory planning and management
Champion company initiatives and strategies
Required Qualifications
High School education required
2 or more years' experience successfully growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry
Excellent interpersonal skills
Superb organizational and project management skills
Ability to use CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years' foodservice sales experience
Demonstrates mastery of consultative selling, marketing principles, and negotiations
