This position is for a Class A Over-The-Road (OTR) Owner Operator responsible for safely operating tractor trailer units transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across long distances, primarily between Lexington, SC and La Porte, TX. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety protocols, proper vehicle and load management, and maintaining accurate records and logs. Compensation includes mileage pay, hourly demurrage rates, and offers bi-weekly home time with earning potential of $200-250K annually.

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Lexington, SC. This route runs from Lexington, SC to La Porte, TX and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. This is a (Flex) and could run other destinations as needed requiring 2-3 weeks out at a time.

• Average $200-250K per year

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
