Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain all required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher for call data and feedback
Monitor and maintain the ambulance unit
Document patient care and billing activities
Follow policies regarding out-of-chute and turnaround times
Consider patient status and insurance when determining transportation
Work past scheduled shifts with little notice
Collaborate professionally with health and safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
