Job Description

As a District Sales Manager at Sysco, you'll lead a team of Sales Consultants, driving performance and growth through effective coaching and strategic customer engagement. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement and sales excellence, making a significant impact in the Kansas City Metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance and development of Sales Consultants
  • Engage in one-on-one coaching and direction
  • Lead and facilitate district meetings
  • Direct Customer Engagement efforts
  • Provide coaching and training to drive sales consultant development
  • Utilize CRM for sales planning and customer engagement
  • Support and promote all national campaigns and promotions
  • Execute territory planning and management

Required Qualifications

  • High School education required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • 2 or more years' experience growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' foodservice sales experience in the foodservice industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superb organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
