Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
Performing MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses
Analyzing hardware, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
Coordinating with customer safety representatives
Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities
Performing System Safety planning, hazard analyses, and design analyses
Briefing safety considerations at technical reviews
Preparing internal and customer reports
Managing System Safety Working Group(s)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
Minimum 5 years of relevant Systems Engineering experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DoD System Safety Programs e.g. MIL-STD-882
Experience in electrical systems and/or weapon combat systems
Experience with Engineering Change Proposals and Engineering Review Boards
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret or Secret SCI Clearance
