Shift: Days/Nights | 12-hour shifts × 3 per week
Compensation: $2,740 weekly gross

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse – Pediatric ICU (PICU) to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The PICU RN will provide critical care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe and high-quality care.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Monitor vital signs, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life-support equipment.
  • Administer IV medications, blood products, and specialized treatments as prescribed.
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform advanced life support interventions.
  • Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate and support families regarding patient condition, treatment, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
  • Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and follow-up coordination.

Requirements

  • Active RN License (Oklahoma or Compact).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (TNCC preferred).
  • Strong pediatric critical care skills, with the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
  • Excellent communication, compassion, and family-centered care approach.

Assignment Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (Days/Nights)
  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,740
