Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter where you will support the Plant Engineering team by creating 3D models and drafting detailed manufacturing drawings. This role is critical in implementing capital projects and ensuring high-quality design standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers and other departments with 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create, modify, and curate electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Basic computer literacy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
