Key Responsibilities
Implement classroom lesson plans linked to child outcomes
Participate in classroom coaching cycles
Enhance children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
Supervise and provide a safe environment for children
Observe, assess, and document each child's development
Assume Lead Teacher's responsibilities in their absence
Ensure general classroom management and cleanliness
Care for children's safety and hygiene
Schedule family/staff conferences
Maintain daily communication with families
Complete required program documentation
Maintain confidentiality regarding program and families
Required Qualifications
Current Child Development Associate credential or at least 12 college credits in relevant fields
1-3 years experience working with children from birth to 5 years
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education program and teaching standards
Preferred Qualifications
Level A or B certification in the PA ECE Career Pathway
Experience with NAEYC standards
Familiarity with inquiry-based and project approach learning
