Key Responsibilities
Communicates with consumers regarding medication services
Recruits and enrolls consumers utilizing enrollment forms
Facilitates the collection of prescriptions to be faxed to the pharmacy
Ensures consumer insurance information is up to date
Assists consumers in contacting the pharmacist for medication questions
Assists clinic staff and pharmacy with prior authorizations
Monitors compliance by contacting consumers monthly
Manages prescription refills in a timely manner
Delivers medication when necessary and permitted
Checks expiration dates on medications
Ensures proper storage of medications
Checks for discrepancies in medications
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Access to reliable transportation and possess a valid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
