Job Description: As a Travel MLT , you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing a variety of lab tests across clinical disciplines. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently during night shifts. Responsibilities include: Performing clinical laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology Collecting, processing, and analyzing specimens accurately and efficiently Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment Verifying and reporting results in compliance with facility protocols Collaborating with clinical staff to support patient care decisions Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field ASCP or AMT Certification required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent clinical lab experience in a hospital setting preferred Strong multitasking and time management skills Familiarity with lab regulations and quality control procedures Contract Details: Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential to extend) Shift: Night shift | 4x10s with occasional 1x11hr Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital Competitive weekly pay and travel stipends included!
