Job Description

Join Quill, part of Staples, as an Inside Sales Manager to drive new revenue and sales growth in the Philadelphia area. Leverage your sales expertise to build strategies, connect with clients, and contribute to a vibrant company culture that prioritizes inclusion and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities to sales team members
  • Schedule appointments and meet with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create custom pricing solutions for potential customers
  • Leverage education contracts to acquire new customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management team
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek continuous improvement through coaching
  • Positively impact culture and team dynamics
  • Drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies
  • Champion company values and services

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs, and conferences, approximately 50% travel
  • Remote Role: Must be able to cover a territory of Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
