Job Description
Join Optum as an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to enhance patient care in a supportive environment. You'll manage patient interactions and administrative tasks, contributing to improved health outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Assist callers with questions or concerns
Greet patients and manage wait time
Complete check-in and check-out tasks including insurance verification
Collect co-payments and issue receipts
Manage medical records
Establish effective working relationships with patients and staff
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a healthcare or medical office setting
EMR or EPIC experience
Working knowledge of general office procedures
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
