Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7p-7a 2 nights through the week and every other weekend

Job Description:
2 + years of experience as RN ED.

IL State License.
BLS, ACLS

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Administer or delegate medications and nursing interventions.
• Advocate for patients and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families; administer blood products.
• Supervise LPNs and ensure quality care.
• Provide care for trauma patients of all ages.
• Serve as house supervisor as needed, including weekends and nights.
• Communicate with EMS and assess ER patient acuity.
• Reassess ER patients and conduct follow-up calls per policy.
• Maintain required competencies, licenses, and certifications.

Additional Duties & Expectations

• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
• Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and performance improvement efforts.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and adaptability.
• Promote hospital services and maintain current clinical knowledge.
• Assist others and perform related duties as needed.
