Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician to support K–12 special education students in a structured classroom setting. Leverage your skills to implement individualized plans that foster growth and success in students, all while enjoying the flexibility of a school schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students’ self-care and social/behavioral needs individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
