Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner
Perform clinical tasks as directed, including obtaining vital signs and administering injections
Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including clinical skills like obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
6 months healthcare experience
6 months medical assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications
