Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Transplant ICU
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Department: Neuro Transplant ICU
Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Start Date: September 22, 2025
End Date: December 20, 2025
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | 3 Days per Week

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, providing comprehensive ICU-level care.
  • Perform thorough assessments, document patient responses, and monitor changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
  • Monitor and interpret patient physiological data, intervening promptly as required.
  • Deliver clear communication to patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and care transitions.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff while maintaining accountability.
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and hospital policy standards.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and techniques.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – AHA required.
