The EP Device Specialist Nurse provides clinical care for patients with implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Responsibilities include device interrogation, programming, troubleshooting, and patient education in both in-office and remote settings. The role requires collaboration with physicians, detailed documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring to manage arrhythmias and optimize cardiac device function.

Role Purpose
Responsible for providing clinical care for patients with implantable cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators and loop devices. Must demonstrate the professional and technical skills required to evaluate patient arrhythmia's and cardiac rhythm management devices, including program settings and troubleshooting. Acquires, maintains, and integrates knowledge of scientific principles and derived technology-based interventions for all cardiac devices.
