We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our maternity team. The RN will provide care and support to mothers throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, ensuring the health and safety of both mother and newborn. This role requires clinical expertise, emotional sensitivity, and the ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

• Provide direct patient care during all stages of labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progression.
• Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean births.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, epidurals, and pain management interventions.
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Support patients emotionally through childbirth and address questions or concerns.
• Perform newborn assessments and support immediate neonatal care needs.
• Accurately document patient care, medications, and changes in condition using EHR systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive birthing environment

-Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. -BLS Schedule 7am - 730pm • Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS • Systems/Experience: Comfortable working with CPN and Cerner • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery
