Registered Nurse Job Details

• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00-19:00, Night: 19:00-07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2010 - $2160
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• On-Call: 1 weeknight per week, 1 weekend per month
• Floating: Required within hospital and to affiliate facilities (vehicle required)
• Charting: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Any (OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child: provided)
• Parking: Free parking available

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license (or eligibility to obtain; can submit with license pending)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nurse or Short Stay RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Reliable vehicle required for floating between healthcare facilities
• Ability to float to other units and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the PACU and Short Stay units
• Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for safe recovery
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform post-op procedures
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response teams
• Float to other nursing units and affiliate hospitals as required
• Participate in on-call rotation (1 weeknight/week, 1 weekend/month)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
