Sable Corporation is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Chicago, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements
Schedule: Full-Time
On-Call Requirement: 14–16 shifts per schedule rotation
Under the direction of a Cardiologist or Radiologist, the Cath Lab Technologist assists with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing procedures, monitoring hemodynamic and physiologic data, maintaining procedural readiness, and supporting patient care throughout invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:Scrub and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
Monitor and document physiologic and hemodynamic data
Ensure procedure room is prepared, including equipment setup and supply availability
Maintain par levels of instruments and supplies
Participate in training new staff and ongoing performance improvement activities
Assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures, both invasive and non-invasive
Attend departmental staff meetings and contribute to operational efficiency
ARRT (R) certification and state licensure as required
VI (Vascular Interventional) credential preferred
Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab setting preferred
BLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained
ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire and maintained
Proficient computer and documentation skills
