Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pharmacy technician schedule with Pharmacy Manager
  • Lead process improvement projects
  • Support Pharmacy Manager with analytical reporting in EHR
  • Motivate and support Dispensing Department team members
  • Assist in retrieving, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications
  • Maintain inventory and drug stock
  • Assist with prior authorizations for medications
  • Process insurance claims

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT)
  • Registration with State Board of Pharmacy
  • Two years in a retail pharmacy or hospital-based ambulatory pharmacy
