Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where you'll lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes in a collaborative environment. Apply your engineering expertise to enhance production efficiency and drive innovative solutions for critical defense projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Provide daily support for process troubleshooting
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Develop manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams/projects
Experience with technical documentation interpretation
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
