Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of a designated clinical area
  • Advocate and allocate resources for quality nursing care
  • Integrate clinical, human resource, and financial data for decision making
  • Promote research and evidence-based practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Supervise and coordinate clinical care
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership for organizational planning and evaluations
  • Contribute to professional development of staff and colleagues
  • Recruit and support new employees to promote growth

Required Qualifications

  • BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
  • Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • National Certification in area of specialty within one year of accepting the role
  • BLS Healthcare Provider
  • Minimum of five years of recent nursing experience
  • Two years in relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Previous leadership experience
