Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in civil or electrical construction, including full cycle bid development, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor coordination, and pricing strategy. The ideal candidate has successfully mentored other estimators, contributed to strategic planning, and played a collaborative role on a management team.

Lead the end-to-end estimating process for complex civil or electrical infrastructure projects, including bid strategy, scope reviews, takeoffs, subcontractor/vendor analysis, and pricing.
Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals for public and private sector clients.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare competitive bids that align with company goals.
Mentor and guide offering technical expertise, process training, and professional development.
Partner closely with operations, project management, field teams, and executives to ensure seamless project hand-offs and alignment with field capabilities.
Participate in management team discussions related to company growth, estimating department structure, and process improvements.
Vendor & Subcontractor Relations
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers.
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids for completeness and competitiveness.
8–15 years of experience in civil or electrical construction estimating, with a focus on infrastructure, utility, sitework, or energy projects.
~ Experience mentoring a team of estimators or managing an estimating department is strongly preferred.
~ Deep understanding of construction methods, labor and material costing, scheduling impacts, and risk management.
~ Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Civil/Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; Competitive executive compensation package including base salary, performance bonuses, company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.
