Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process
• Ensures patient comfort and explains procedures
• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration
• Documents patient care and monitors patient conditions
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care
• Evaluates learning needs and provides education to patients and families
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
• Attends staff meetings and participates in in-service training
