• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,630 - $1,750 per week

ER RN Job Details – Clinton, Maryland

• Location: Clinton, Maryland (20735) – Easy access to Washington, D.C.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Unit: Emergency Department (40 beds, 130 visits/day)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state (required for ER nursing jobs in Maryland)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel nurse assignment
• Charge nurse experience preferred; must be willing to orient and work as charge RN
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (required for ER RN roles)
• Recent experience in a high-volume ED (at least 125 visits/day)
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills for fast-paced emergency care
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to all age groups in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, and manage ventilated patients
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, apply isolation precautions, and utilize CPAP/BiPAP
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Orient and serve as charge nurse as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
• Follow all hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Potential exposure to COVID-19 patients
