ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Galveston, Texas.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday with Wednesday off
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (no guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract)
• No weekends, no on-call or callback requirements
• 13-week contract starting October 27 or November 10
• Must wear black scrubs
• Minimum 4 years of OR experience required
• Must have proficiency in all specialties including: Eyes, ENT, GYN, Ortho (total joints and sports medicine), Robotics (Xi), Urology, Plastics, General, Pain Services, Vascular Services, and Colorectal
• Must have current Texas RN license with at least 2 years inpatient hospital experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association
• EPIC charting experience highly preferred
• Virtual orientation via Microsoft Teams required
• In-person EPIC training at Galveston campus required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Overtime available for hours worked over 40 per week

This healthcare facility is a 310 licensed bed medical center serving as a Level I Trauma Center. The operating room department features 20 beds and provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems and offers advanced surgical capabilities including robotic surgery with Xi technology. The organization provides virtual orientation programs and comprehensive training to ensure staff are well-prepared for their roles.
