Position - MRI Technologist
Location - Columbus, OH 43215
Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (14:00 - 02:30)
Expected Hours - 36 Hours
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks +Extensions)
Job Overview:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. Working under the direction of a radiologist or physician, the MRI Tech ensures patient safety, prepares patients for procedures, operates the MRI equipment, and maintains accurate patient records. The technologist must be proficient in cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and safety practices related to magnetic fields.
Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers (will review travelers with 1.5yrs if strong Level I/large hospital experience)
•Must have experience with Siemens scanners
•ARRT – American Registry or Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
•BLS Certification
•Cardiac Experience is a major plus
•Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role.
