Job Details:
• Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies
• Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff • Collaborate with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care • Participate consistently in Universal Protocol and site marking identification • Assist with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room preparation for routine procedures • Read physician orders/protocols and communicate with physicians as needed • Select equipment according to protocols and regulatory standards • Maintain and calibrate equipment, conduct preventive maintenance procedures • Troubleshoot equipment and report repair needs to maintain operability • Instruct other technologists in operation of special procedures equipment • Weekend schedule to be determined by facility • Possible call responsibilities • Must have 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases required • Required certifications: ARRT or RCIS, ACLS, BLS • State of Texas Medical Radiologic License required • Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred • Previous travel experience preferredFacility:
